Lesson Plan: Shopping with Be Verbs
Short DescIcon Short Desc A lesson to excersise the use of is, are, was, and were in a shopping context.
DescriptionIcon Description Be verbs are not the easiest thing to teach using a communicative approach. I've been using this lesson as an introduction to start thinking about the past tense when using be verbs.

It involved a series of card trading games in a shopping context. It was my intention to have the students differentiate between is, are, was, and were in a repetitive fashion.

Because this lesson has trading cards there is a small amount of preparation time needed. It should only take 10 minutes or so. ...
